Mother's Day Ideas

Apr 15, 2015

Mother's Day is on May 10th, and that's going to sneak up on us! Here are a few ideas for those incredible women in your life.

For the readers:
Check out Out Of Print, a clothing and accessories brand that features iconic book covers and other literary material. I'd suggest starting with the Library Card tote bags or pouches ($20 or $12). You can also search by a specific book, like Alice in Wonderland, or category like Sherlock Holmes. I have the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar pouch and couldn't love it more.

For the gardeners:
Try the new Kate Spade Watering Can. It's a delightfully unexpected handbag with just the sweetest lining. It's $328 but likely to go on sale soon. (Psst - they also have a handy Mother's Day Gift Guide)

For those who need to get organized:
Let's face it, running around after kids all day is tough! Heck I don't even have kids and I need one of these. Say hello to Dagne Dover, aka Mom's Best Friend. The Tote has a laptop sleeve, phone sleeve, detachable key holder, even a water bottle holder. $265.

For those who like to give back:
Check out the beautiful bags at Future Glory. Proceeds from each purchase go to a local San Francisco organization helping women who have been victims of sexual abuse or domestic exploitation. And their bags really could not be more classic. See some drool-worthy bags here.

Do you have plans for Mother's Day? I'd love to hear what you're doing, please post in the comments below or send me a tweet!
