Wyatt and Jack - Upcycled Handbags Made from Bouncy Castles

Apr 27, 2015

What do the beach, bouncy castles, and handbags have in common? Wyatt and Jack, an accessories company you're going to adore.

Wyatt and Jack is a UK-based bag and accessories company that's making upcycling as cool as can be. If you haven't heard of this before, upcycling happens when you take a product that was headed for the trash and turn it in to something awesome. While recycling remakes a material, upcycling takes a material as is and gives it new life.

Case in point: Wyatt and Jack are taking old bouncy castles, deck chairs, and beach materials and making gorgeous bags and accessories out of them. All the materials are sourced locally from London and in the Isle of Wight.

Check out this beautiful cross body bag and change purse set. they used to be a bouncy castle! The Geometrics Set is only $45.

This Zip It Pouch is adorable and made out of upcycled deck chairs. They're lined with waterproof upcycled PVC so it's perfect to store your phone and keys for a day at the beach. And it's only $12:

And lastly, I just love The Groucho, a makeup pouch made from both deck chairs and bouncy castles ($50):

I just can't get enough of these! You can shop Wyatt and Jack by product or by beach, so if you've traveled to the UK and want to own a unique piece of your experience you'll want to shop here. Or if you're just a fan of upcycling, of the beach, or of bouncy castles, well I think Wyatt and Jack is the place for you.
